The Tea

Panna Green Chiya is a green tea from Darjeeling, harvested and crafted in small batches from small farms. It is one of the first Darjeeling teas of its kind in the market, as most Darjeelings are from large estates. The tea is processed with steam used as a kill green step, with a focus on a higher quality plucking standard and more uniform processing in the factory. This tightly twisted green tea is an innovative tea from the land of the Champagne of Teas where the common process is orthodox, oxidized tea. The tea brews to a deep yellow infusion with sweet, vegetal flavor notes and a rich, astringent texture.
